Pot Fillers have become a desired aspect in many kitchen renovations. These single spout faucets originally came from restaurant and community kitchens that prepare food for a lot of people.
A single gallon of water weighs about 8.33 lbs and when a large cooking pot needs a lot of water to cook for a lot of people, it gets very heavy. This can be difficult for some people to move a filled pot from the sink to the stove. Creating a water source - the pot filler - at the stove, solved this problem. Furthermore, when someone has a large cooking pot, it may not actually fit in the sink or under the faucet.
