Shower Niches

A shower niche is a term used to describe a recessed storage space in the wall of your bathroom or shower.  Shower niches and built in shower shelves come in two main types- a prefab niche, which is generally made of stainless steel or porcelain, and a ready-to-tile niche, which is a shower niche box that is covered with a tile backer board ready to accept the tile of your choosing. These shower niches act as a recessed shower shelf that adds extra storage options into your existing shower.
