 Properly assembled and installed, into studs, bistro shelving is
capable of supporting reasonable amounts of vertical load. 

We recommend capacities of up to 50 pounds per shelf when
using tempered glass shelving with a thickness of at least .25",
and up to 75 pounds per shelf when using hardwood
shelving with a thickness of at least .25".
