The sink is constructed from 85% crushed natural granite, giving the sink extreme durability and the look of real stone. The sink is colored all the way through, for a rich and consistent look that will never discolor. The surface of the sink undergoes a proprietary treatment making it resistant to stains, bacteria and extreme temperatures up to 536 degrees Fahrenheit. The sink comes with a basket strainer drain assembly that traps food waste and is easy to empty into the trash. My sink has not yet been installed so I cannot rate on that. I will give them a 5 star rating for service and delivery. I ordered the sink on a Thursday morning and it was at my house the next afternoon. I live in Texas and it was shipped from NY. The first thing I did was open and check for damage and it is perfect!!! Thanks so much. I will update after installation and I have used it for a bit .
