Eden Bath is a fantastic company. They offer the most unique items we have on our website for your bathroom remodel. No two sinks are alike. Lets start with their leading stone sink; The petrified Wood sink.
You read that correctly; Petrified Wood Sink!
I know, I know. "How can you call it wood and stone at the same time?!"
Easy, science!
Take a quick pass of the following info from Geology.com for clarification:
"Petrified wood is a fossil. It forms when plant material is buried by sediment and protected from decay due to oxygen and organisms. Then, groundwater rich in dissolved solids flows through the sediment, replacing the original plant material with silica, calcite, pyrite, or another inorganic material such as opal. The result is a fossil of the original woody material that often exhibits preserved details of the bark, wood, and cellular structures."
"Some specimens of petrified wood are such accurate preservation that people do not realize they are fossils until they pick them up and are shocked by their weight. These specimens with near-perfect preservation are unusual; however, specimens that exhibit clearly recognizable bark and woody structures are very common."
Interesting, right?
Just as no two trees are identical, trees in fossil form will also be completely unique. A stone sink formed from a piece of a petrified tree can be a functional and functioning piece of art and science in your home's bathroom.
Eden Bath keeps a great assortment of these petrified wood sinks in inventory. As models are purchased, additional models are brought into inventory. I have to say it again, no two sinks are alike. Every shape, dimension and color spectrum are unique. (You can find two that are close if you have two sinks in a bathroom, but they are different)
Below is an example of these amazing sinks.

Technical Stuff:
These sinks are considered "Non-Over Flow". This means that if the drain is stopped or clogged and the faucet is left on, the water can overflow onto the bathroom floor and potentially cause a lot of damage, especially if unattended.
Eden Bath offers a few drains that work with this sink. One is a grid style drain, the other is a "mushroom" style drain.
The Mushroom Pop Up drain can be pushed down to stop the drain of water, and pushed to release the drain, too. This does not use a lift rod that some faucets come with.
Note: The grid style drain will not allow the user to fill the sink with water.
With design, decor, renovations and style, we as people tend to fear being bold. Think about it... How often have you seen a bright red accent wall, or a gray or blue ceiling? (Online, sure, but a friend or relative's home?) Typically, we need to be pushed into boldness. Using one of the petrified sinks is bold, earth friendly ( Its rock, not metal or resin) and unique.
But Joe, What else can I choose from? Any other unique sinks.
