I never received the faucet I ordered and paid but DirectSinks offers no assistance whatsoever. Buyers beware!

Cynthia,
Let's clarify: We answered every question. We processed and shipped your order as you ordered it. Just to make sure you understand, you ordered product to the incorrect address and blamed us for your error. Next you further said we were unresponsive and unhelpful. This is a fabrication of facts. The situation is that you want to pressure us to give you a free item while not taking responsibility for your own actions. We will not be bullied or pressured in such a way.

Regarding 'buyer beware', this is a general term that is outdated and would typically apply to all purchases. Buyers need to understand what they are purchasing and what responsibility they hold during the transaction. Yes, purchasing goods is a two-party transactions where the buyer and seller both have a responsibility. This could be purchasing a pack of gum, or buying a home. In your case it happened to be a faucet. The buyer's responsibility during an online purchase, such as yours, is that the information you give us, or other online sellers, is accurate. At the time your order was processed, we only know what address you enter on your end. The technology does exist for us to understand what you need shipped, and to what location. However, if the information entered is incorrect we have no way of knowing that.

One of the programs we have to reduce this issue from happening that an order confirmation is emailed to you moments after you purchase the product. This order confirmation is to let you know we have the order as it appears in the confirmation. This also allows the buyer to double check what they bought and where it will ship to. Unfortunately, in this situation, you did not look at the order confirmation to catch any errors. Have you taken a proactive and responsible approach, this would have easily been corrected before shipment. Instead you chose to wait for a delivery confirmation email to tell us 'we' have the wrong address, and that you never typed in the address in question. Next you demanded we have the item shipped as 'intended'. As mentioned prior, we did in fact ship the item to the address you asked for. I understand that this is inconvenient for you. I understand you essentially purchased a faucet for a complete stranger. You made an error. It happens from time to time, Sellers Beware!
